General Tour Information
-
Forbidden Island is a marine sanctuary, it is undeveloped and perhaps the most beautiful area on all of Saipan. The ocean and beach areas are protected by law. There is no fishing, jet skiing, or taking of coral. Any items taken in must be carried out. The hike in to Forbidden Island is a little bit hard.
Participants should be healthy, eat breakfast, and get enough sleep the night before. During your tour we’ll hike in, visit an interesting cave pool, and snorkel in a beautiful natural pool. The views and scenery on this tour are amazing, very few people have the chance to visit this area of Saipan.
-
We suggest light, easy drying long sleeves and pants for the hike in, however some people prefer short pants and a t-shirt. A hat is also recommended if you don’t bring one we’ll be happy to lend you one. We also have a selection of hiking shoes that you can use free of charge. Please wear your swim suit if you want to swim at Forbidden. Some people also like to wear gloves.
